KIDS COUNT GRANTS 2025-26
BEF welcomes Kid Count grants applications from all elementary, middle, high and option schools/programs in the Beaverton School District. Grants support student engaged learning opportunities over an extended school year, extended school day, and classroom or cross-disciplinary innovations. Grants are available up to $15,000.
Letters of Inquiry are accepted throughout the year.
- Letters of Inquiry for summer 2025 and the 2025-26 school year should be submitted by Thursday, February 6, 2025. Submission of a full proposal is by invitation from BEF. Award decisions will be made before spring break.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY / SAFE AND SOUND 4 STUDENT SUCCESS (S4) GRANTS
Middle schools may submit their individual school plan for the following school year. In September, BEF makes an award to each school based on available funds and student population. Grants can range from $5,000 to $15,000. The Safe and Sound 4 Student Success (S4) Application window will open again in the fall.

Beaverton’s Choice is an online crowdfunding platform available only to BSD staff. We charge no fees and all funds raised go directly toward your goal.
Proposals may be eligible for matching funds from BEF; determination of matching funds will be made after review of the full proposal.
